Caprisport do all manner of upgrade kits for the fronts as they are a very similar set up,probably find the rear kits wil fit too

You planning on going THAT fast Andy ? I didn't think you drove like me !! I had stock Cortina front brakes on my 220bhp Rover powered blue APU and used it hard and they were fine.

All the Ford front calipers use a 54mm piston so no more clamping pressure available from changing calipers . Drilled /crosscut discs will aid heat disappation and stop brake fade at speed.

You can get a larger pad to suit the existing discs ,or upgraded material such as Green Stuff ( at a slight loss of slower braking capability ) .

Next up is a vented disc so complete Granada upright and brake set up but at the downside of wider track , about 1-1.5 inches per side from memory.

2 litre rear brakes have larger diameter and width though rear upgrades don't really yield huge improvement as under heavy breaking the weight is transferred to the front.

also capri vented discs will fit the front if you get a caliper spacing kit from rally design about £25

And they'll be just as crap as they are on a Capri! I'd be looking at Hi-spec's stuff if I needed to uprate Cortine brakes; assuming that RS turbo discs and calipers didn't fit under the wheels.
