    Thumbs upBrake pipe flaring tool..

As I need to invest in one of these tools in the near future, I need to be able to produce the cone back flare (SAE) and the flat back flare (DIN) and the USA style flare (37 degree as opposed to 45 degree ).

Can anybody recommend a tool that can cope with all three types, obviously with a change of die and punches, some idea of cost would be appreciated.

Years ago I had a hand held Sykes tool that produced excellent flares, provided you followed the instructions, sadly this tool was never returned and the exact replacement is no longer to be found .

Go for the Sykes-Pickavant kit Mate... well worth the investment- even if you only make one pipe!

There's usually a load of used ones on EBay- you can buy the adapters individually too- to suit what you need.
