    Been watching this on FB....before you weld that clip back in you need to set it at ride height or you will be back in the same mess as you are now.

    Thank you for pointing this out but I had already made alterations to correct this and actually all in my favour as the steering wheel was far too low before. Obviously raising cab (or lowering clip) would put the s/wheel even lower so I've put a steeper angle on it using a universal joint. Far better now.
