Had an early very diagnosis on PC some 12 years ago now - opted for radical surgery (removal for the prostate) and been 100% clear ever since - the surgery does create other potential issues........but non as difficult as ending up a 'stiff' in the boneyard (a little clue there.....lol!) - oddly a couple of months ago in error I managed to remove the crank nut on my BB Vette - completely by mistake! - how?...... I normally remove the viscous fan and use a socket and breaker bar on the crank nut to rotate the engine when adjusting timing or setting valve lash. In the excitement of replacing the old and cranky starter motor with a brand new one and keen to see if it would work without shimming the mounting bolts (b'stard job that one) I turned the engine over on the starter motor (fortunately with the ignition disconnected) several times, greatly pleased that it turned over really well (and I would need to 'shim' it) I tried a couple more cranks and the engine slowed right up and struggled to turn over at all........the reason? I'd forgotten about leaving the socket and breaker bar on the crank nut and when 'turning' the engine over the breaker bar was resting against the front cross-member and undoing itself........well, almost. With the crank nut and located behind the front cross-member as the crank nut unscrewed itself it jammed the socket and breaker bar in between the threaded end of the crankshaft and the cross-member! The crank nut located in the socket and breaker bar was cocked over at an angle so I couldn't put the in gear and push it backwards to run the crank nut (now firmly fixed in the socket) back up the crank-shaft thread. Even if I removed all the plugs I doubt if I'd have had the strength to do it. Just thought I'd share this 'stupidity' with you fellows.
Kinda thinking I was lucky I didn't actually run the engine - that breaker bar etc would have possibly become a ballistic weapon.......anyway I eventually managed to lever it socket out and no damage was caused (except to personal pride)

sorry the pics are rotated , have asked about it.
I got this massive 3/4 drive 1.2m bar and the nut came off easily.

the simplex parts fitted straight on with no problem will finish refitting the rest of the parts tomorrow

First I go to were the picture is saved on my laptop or computer and click on the picture.
On my laptop when the picture comes up it has a black background. On my computer it has a white background.

    Black background
1 In the top right hand corner Click on the Icon that is a Box with mountains in it.
2 In the box Click on Crop and Rotate.
    3 Click on Rotate.
    4 Click on Finished.
5 Click on Save a Copy.
Then you will have a copy of the picture where your pictures are stored

    White Background
1 In the top right hand corner Click on Edit and Create down arrow.
2 Click on edit in the drop down box.
3 On the next screen Click on Rotate.
4 Then click on Save a Copy.
Then you will have a copy of the picture where your pictures are stored.

If when you post the picture on the Forum and it is still the wrong orientation take a copy of the posted picture and then repeat the rotation process. Then post the new copy. Any problems just PM me.
