    Electric Vacuum Pump?

It looks like the ‘new’ engine what with its ITBs wouldn’t produce enough vacuum for the brakes to see it, so I think I’m in the market for an electric one. Any leads on a good, read cheap option? I’ve seen some for £220 a kit at builders site, but £££
    Cheers

I’ve used a Simtek kit on a big block Olds 442 to really good effect.

Maybe look into fitting a diesel engine alternator that has vacuum pump fitted to the back,
Plenty have em like corsas and transits.

Alternator vacuum pump needs pressure oil feed and sump return ......

Neatest one I've personally seen was the belt driven / diaphragm type fitted to the 504 2.3 diesels

Thanks people, the Volvo one and a pressure switch looks like a neat cheap option.
