Electric water pump info please chaps...

We want to use an electric car waterpump to pump water around a large caravan.

Anyone any ideas as to which pump would be up to this?

    TIA

why not just use a proper caravan pump?? it will be much cheaper.
And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts, And I looked and behold: a pale horse. And his name, that sat on him, was Death. And Hell followed with him.

I can't think of a car that has an electric water pump as OE fitment, unless you mean a washer pump or something. What water do you want to pump? Heating water? Drinking water? Shower? I'm not sure it would workfor a pressurised system. For that you want something like a Flowjet or similar
Has a pressure switch so it turns off when tap turned off, and is really quiet. I expect a car one to be noisey and not perform too well as it's high vol / low pressure designed to circulate water as opposed to pumping it.
You can get a good used or new one here www.chandlerybarge.co.uk

I was initially asked by a friend what type of car water pump might be used to pump water around his caravan, he knows I may have been able to source one cheap if one existed..

Having thought about the question after posting it on here, i have come to the conclusion that this is one of the daftest questions i have ever asked! Period!

Why i posted this trash before thinking about what i was doing is beyond comprehension.

Suffice to say, don't bother replying, i've told my friend to stop asking me daft questions, Loser!
