    English Ford Axle

The axle on the POS occasionally throws oil oil , not as in worn front seal but it will sit there happily for days and then suddenly just spit it out or alos after a good run out .I'm reckoning as heat on /in axle and blocked axle vent so to the question... is the breather tube just pushed in or screwed in, I've never pulled on out before.?

Isn't it just a lid that clips on to the top of the tube.

If you pop the lid off, you can look down it I think, and see if it is blocked.

It's a while since I had anything to do with one.

Hi Kev. They're push in plastic, lid does seperate, but care is needed removing them, could be brittle with age.

On the ones I've tried they've always broken to pieces in my hands so I presumed I was either doing it wrong or they were brittle with age.
