    Exhaust lagging

My Zodiac has always sounded a bit tinny (probably due to the stainless steel exaust) I did notice that it sounds much nicer when it's on soft ground so I'm wondering if I lagged the exhaust pipes ( like marine exhausts) would it sound less tinny?

we wrapped a 3" stainless exhaust i made for a turbo 4x4 sierra years ago and it did deaden the tinniness of it somewhat so i'd give it a go.

Mild steel piping would corrode if lagged.......ceramic coated headers are always quieter than standard ones - you loose the 'pinging' sound
