    Exhaust question

    Hi,

Planning to build my own exhaust for my Rover V8 powered 100e project in the near future.

I want 2 separate pipes one for each bank question is should i use a balancer pipe between them?
    looking for that hotrod burble.
    Any advice greatly appreciated.

    Cheers

    Steve

Rovers like balance pipes ,changes the exhaust note and supposedly produces more torque. The usual formula is that the crossover pipe should be the same id as the exhaust valve diameter. Also no more than 2 inch bore on a stock to mild Rover.

supposedly it smoothes out the note abit, as for the torque bit, when i put one in my 78 camaro a few years ago, i was suprised at how punchy it felt afterwards, deffinitely worth doing.
