Fitting 36 split bones
Hi guys, I have got what I believe to be a set of 36 bones which have been split, I now need them to fit my axle at 2 1/4” the boss’ on the bones are 2”, is there a specific face that needs adjustment and if so what face?! Also if there is anyone who knows of a good engineer in the midlands area who could help me do such a task that would be greatly appreciated!

From just looking at the photo taking 1/8" off each face on the beam would be best. You really want to try and avoid having an undercut into the beam from the machined face on the top or bottom.
Any engineering firm with a milling machine would be able to do that work. You are going to be paying more for the setup (which will be a real ball ache) rather than the straightforward machining work that follows.

Trade that aftermarket 2-1/4" axle to someone who needs that size for their Model A wishbones and buy one with 2" perch bosses. Or buy an original '32-'36 Ford axle that will also fit those 'bones.
Or sell those 'bones and buy a Model A or '37-up wishbones that will fit your axle.
Or do as Stueeee says and machine the axle to fit.
