    Foam for seats

The seats in my car are rather uncomfortable as the foam base inside the leather seems too thin to give any decent support on a run. I was thinking it might be possible to take out the staples from the base and add some high density foam underneath the foam of the seat, thereby making the foam base thicker, whilst also taking out some of the wrinkles in the leather. Hopefully this would give a bit more support to the seat and my butt wouldn't end up sitting on the plywood base on a trip. What sort of foam should I be looking for to do this?

    Thanks in advance..Nige

Colour of foam denotes density , but it can vary according to manufacturers.
