    Ford 9 inch what oil ?

    I need to get oil for my 9 inch rear axle and not 100% sure what oil I need was looking at this

    Millers Oils EP 80w-90 GL4 high quality gear oil

    So for those that know will this be OK ? if not what do you suggest

    has the 9 inch got a limited slip diff or locker as i think there is a different oil for them.
    i use kendal 80w 90 limited slip oil in my 8 inch
    livin' on beer 'n' jaffa cakes -one box per pint

    Hi Mark,
    EP 80 or 90 will be fine with your 9" setup. Would be worth changing the oil after the first 500 miles too, as it's just been rebuilt.

    Can't remember if yours has a level plug or not, but if not it'll take at least 2 1/2 litres from dry.
