Rose joints, because they are cheaper than adjustable urethane bushes, bizarrely.

Also, the tube McGills sell is too thin. I believe it's 1.5mm wall erw?? May work on a stock car for an evenings racing but too wimpy for street use, again....imho.
If I buy some new tubing suitable to take a 1/2" or 5/8" unf thread, what wall thickness and / or minimum OD would you advise?
Starting to think tapping my own tubes might just be too much hassle?
Also need LH taps as well as Rh to make the links easy to adjust.
we use 1" tube from rally design with their threaded weld in bungs. 5/8 bungs to take 5/8" x 1/2" (bolt size through the eye) 'rose' joints also from rally design. the tube bends nicely if needed with no kinks which can be handy.
I always use 1" od x 5/8 id cds or stainless tube then drill and tap 3/4 unf. (don,t like weld in bungs).
Dont waste your time! get one of these and you wont go wrong, much better quality than anything you get from the states or anything! you couldn't make it yourself for that money... stainless or cds, whatever way they are engineered to the highest standard!
