    Supplementary question:
Is 1/2" unf thread strong enough to for adjustable ends or do I need 5/8"?
The engine will stock rover v8.
    Maybe a little tuning later.

What about for push rods / pull rods if I go inboard coilovers at the front?

I've got 5/8 on my 4 link setup. For the sake of safety I have would rather over engineer it

1/2" is fine. I use 1/2 most of the time and only step up to 5/8 or 3/4 for single shear or big horsepower applications.

I have a long length of CDS tube that measures up at 20mm OD and 11.75 ID
Will that take a ½” UNF thread OK or do I need something else?
If I need to buy something, what would you recommend?

McGill motorsport do threaded bungs for under a fiver. I use 25mm od with a 3 or 4 mm wall tube.

I've seen those, but as I've got both 1/2" and 5/8" taps I was hoping to save a few quid by tapping the tube myself.
McGill's 4 link kits come out at about £130 when you add in the tubes.

Pretty sure 1/2 needs to be 11.5 bore for good tapping. 5/8 into that tube will leave a little on the wall, although imho that's too small a tube.
Also, the tube McGills sell is too thin. I believe it's 1.5mm wall erw?? May work on a stock car for an evenings racing but too wimpy for street use, again....imho.

What sort of bushes will you be using or are you going for rose joints?
