    Front clip advise please.

Hello all, im gathering parts for a willys truck build and am thinking of useing a cortina or granada front clip as my budget is limited. Am i right in thinking that you can fit granada hubs/spindles to the cortina setup? Also would a mk 2 granada clip be narrow enough if i could get one. Ive sourced a cortina clip so would need to get hubs redrilled to 5 stud 4 1/2 inch pcd. Any help would be great thanks.

I would look at jags and early chevys parts easier to get and poss cheaper in long run.

granada too wide, same jag. cortina maybe. yes granada uprights fit cortina balljoints. also if you get the granada wheel stud holes offset drilled bigger they will go to 5 x 4.5" pcd with a larger stud (done this several times). any of the 3 clips can be narrowed and fitted with a narrower rack.

It was pointed out to me that Granada uprights have different camber to them when used in Cortina suspension. Checked it out and it's true but dependent on amount of lowering this can work to your advantage in correcting geometry.

Granada uprights and disc do widen your track compared to Cortina by around 1" per side.

Perfectly doable to redrill Cortina to Ford 5 stud .

early (cortina shape) p100's have oddball brakes too and the discs are impossible to find. they're basically south african imports.
