Ah well, wheels off down to tyre fitters tommorow to remove tyres check and re fit, and re balance. then re set caster to 4 degrees and see then.....

Remember to set it to 4 degrees to the road not the chassis (experience)

Just rebuilding my front end following new king pins and come across this that may well be your problem, all going well no slack and no tight spots thought i'd give the hubs a turn lock to lock just to check and i had this one place [ steering dead ahead ] where i could feel the steering going slack for just a few degree's each side of that dead ahead then i noticed that just at that one point one king pin was turning yup you got it pointed end not flat end grub screw fitted to clamp the king pin though axle allowed this " rock " at the one place that would give a death wobble, changed grub screw and now smooth as silk lock to lock.

not saying you have the wrong grub screw but if it's not 100% locking that king pin then you get this rock untill the king pin jam's itself tight again on it's own locking groove.

Well the saga is continuing....although better.

Went to Belgium and the subject came up over breakfast with a few lads, one had experienced it and after a lot of checking/rechecking was told to try without the panhard rod....cured it!
So I left mine until we got to the campsite and then took mine off......... cured!! The axle seems to sort itself out, you can see the wheel start wobbleing and the axle moves a tiny amount and it all stops!
The belgium roads were dreadfull in places and i consider the road test to be a good one...... just need to sort out my friction shocks, they suffered!
