Does anyone know if a minor or mini van fuel sender would replace the consul one

I made one fit my Thames.

mini is a side mount but with a few carefull bends on the arm I made it work as a top mount!
The bolt circle was exactly the same. so probably the same as consul as well...

More worried about the ohms ive expertly (bodged) a sender + gauge for now but was thinking that as a mini van/estate went in from the top and mounted via 6 screws i wondered if the ohms where the same

I think i need one that reads 70-10 full - empty but as i dont have one that actually works its a bit hard to tell my mates classic reads 22-0 and gives a false reading so thinking my figures are close

    But thanks for the reply
