    It's in second Darren. You're roughly geared to 22mph/1000 which would roughly mean 10mph/1000 in first and 16mph/1000 in 2nd so 3000 in second is 50mph like I said ROUGHLY.

    Move it down manually to 2nd , at low revs per rough specs above ,and see what happens to revs/ speed.

    Of course you linkage may be out of adjustment and you are actually in 2 currently NOT Drive.

    its a new aftermarket unit also it agrees with my snap on timing light ???

    If that's the case, and the timing light tacho is correctly calibrated and accurate, then see the post immediately previous to your last one.

    If it was the kick down cable you would have been screaming the granny out of it in first gear as well, as said it could be linkage out of wack or even a vacuum issue.

    its direct linkage so no cables

    its well worth the wait











    i had the tacho set to 6 cylinders as well as my snap on timing light

    At least its an easy fix, cheaper than gearbox repairs.
    Its no good in the garage, Drive it!
