    No it does't make a lot of sense, either the wrong info or it's gone haywire in copy and paste.

    What these don't show you easily is that you have a really tall gear set, i'e you don't have much acceleration. You have nice top end but look at 5000rpm in 1st, for me it's 33mph, for you it's 58mph, my car has way more leverage and will wind up quicker, whilst your car will take a long time to get to redline in 1st.

    This is where gearing is acceleration, if you want your car to be lively then you need to change the ratios, start by putting in a 3.36 or 3.55 diff, but this will bring your revs up on the motorway, a 4 speed will sort that but again it depends what you want?

    Perhaps go for a 3.08 rear end if you don't want to change transmission?, But an ideal 1st gear ratio for a th350 with a small block is 3.73 gears (9.3 first gear), or 4.11's (10.3),

    A 3 speed is always a compromise....
