    Are Holley smoking something good?

I'm confused! I was on Summit racing looking for radiator options and found this...

Frostbite Performance Cooling Aluminum Radiators FB124 - Free Shipping on Orders Over $99 at Summit Racing

From the look of the picture I thought it was crossflow but the description said downflow. So I emailed Holley via their website and queried the details. Below is their response and my original question. I've highlighted a key element I thought made a radiator crossflow!

Thank you for contacting Holley performance. All frostbite radiators are side mounts tanks. Depending on application, they are either downflow or crossflow. FB124 is a downflow radiator.
    Thanks,
    Alex

    Your question was:
Is this radiators tanks top and bottom or at the sides? All your pictures show side mount tanks but claim to be down flow on the summit racing website.

Is there some other reason it could be classed as downflow with side mount tanks?

The thing is he stated in the email that all their radiators are side mount tanks. As far as I know a downflow radiator has it's tanks too and bottom.

Surely the veins have to be inline with the tanks?

You can get up flow rads Late LT1 chevy engines are reverse flow so water goes from lower to upper, and even though the water is going across it still going up or down on all rads .

Yes, I guess they mean it goes in the top port, back and forth across the radiator, and out the bottom port? But remember, they are Americans!
