Right. follow on the other thread (It's in again...), but I have checked the engine with another carb and get the same problems!!
I can only guess the cam is about right, plus or minus a degree or so, so my problems are elsewhere.
Oh, BTW Zeph, I tried to find a leak and it's not obvious, if there is one! Checked all ports on the carb and round the manifold, but I was very careful about applying a little sealer round each port on that!
Still need to check the timing, if anyone has a great idea for an engine not running under 1500 rpm!
still the same with that carb mark?
Yeah, exactly the same Kev! I need a pair of hands to get the timing right while the engine is actually running as it's a bit lumpy ATM!
