    If its outboard brakes its likely to be XJ40. Does it have solid disc or vented?

    They look like they are quite a modern set up, possibly Lucas-Girling? Maybe Mk4 Astra? A diameter might help.

    just solid disc at the front, the person I bought it from told me it had jaguar running gear front & back, since owning it these last few months I don't think it has,

    the axle is covered in underseal so trying to take that crap off, I'Ve not found any markings on it yet,the guy at past parts bury st Edmunds said it was not jaguar brakes on the rear,
    so I have now removed wheel cylinders & taking them down to past parts for a refurb,
    I thought also looking on the google search images it looked like a opel set up,it was built /put together in south Africa,so no one seems to know anything about it, I met one of its former owners at the nats this year he was going to email me with some details but ive not heard anything from him...(probley to embarrassed if it was him who started the jaguar running gear story,lol,

    here's a picture of my refurbished wheel cylinders, looking like brand new, Thanks Russ for your info regarding past times brake refurbs


    I wonder what i'll find when I get the front wheels off & look at the brake pads, lol,
