    jago hotrod ?

hi,was looking at a jago built coupe on sale ,but was wondering how easy (legal) is it to buy a jago jeep ,for instance ,and build a hotrod on it/from it ?
as they already come with a v5c what can i change ,i know you cant radically alter the chassis but how much can you add/subtract ? any advise, past experience would be greatly apprieciated thank you ?????????

The simple answer is that it is extremely unlikely that you would get any 'normal' rod style body to fit a 'Jago Jeep ' chassis .
The amount of components you can add or subtact is covered by DVLA's 8 points system but the chassis must remain unaltered.

    8 points system here :-

    Chassis mod clarification here :-

The Macpherson strut front would rule out any open front style motor plus the short wheelbase would create issues.
If you are thinking of creating a rod by rebodying any kit car you would be better looking to the Lotus 7 style replicas with seperate chassis.
