As the fronts should do most of the braking.

The valve is only in the rear line, so it cant be that causing front brake fail.
ok heres a real shot in the dark,, too much resistance on the valve causes most of the fluid to go to the fronts, the dual master cyl gets confused thinking a front brake leak has occurred and reacted by shutting the fluid off to the perceived leak, now its stuck in that position, so rears only responding to brake pressure.

    NOW WITH ADDED PICS. http://www.britishv8.org/Articles/Ta...-Cylinders.htm

And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts, And I looked and behold: a pale horse. And his name, that sat on him, was Death. And Hell followed with him.

OK .... I really think Iv sorted this now.
It was a mixture of dodgy parts and my error.
When I was doing all these uprates on the car over the winter I had managed to put the Wilwood proportioning valve in the front line, instead of the rear!!!
I started tonight by opening the union on the master cylinder to see if it was pushing fluid. It was.
I then opened both bleed nipples on the front calipers. No fluid came out of either.
I looked for the brake line T piece to see if there was maybe a restriction in it. It was at this point I noticed my valve error.
I removed the valve and made up a new brake line. Of course..... It works.
Blowing through the valve. Theres a blockage.

Sadly I cant test drive it coz I bust an air bag! < see the baggin the 57 thread >

The moral to this tale is........ Dont rush to meet a deadline. Mistakes are easy to make.
If its low n black n shiny n sparkley n loud n spitting fire....... It's probably mine.

Ah, Kimosabe, you learn eloquent truth. Take nothing for granted.....

    Assume it will go wrong...........

............and you won't go far wrong!

Prior to purchase ask some one who has used the same kit before.

Final piece of advice, price of a jewel.........................

Read the ****in' instructions supplied with the kit!!!!!!

Much to my detriment I didn't and learned this vital lesson the hard way!!!

    You on www.trichevy.com ?

If I wasn't meant to go that fast, the pedal would only go half way!
