London based mechanic recommendations?

I have a 57 Buick Super, 6Lt V8. It's an automatic. It wont go into reverse gear anymore and it hardly pulls away even when you floor the accelerator. So any suggestions for a London based reliable mechanic who would undertake this issue? Thanks in advance.

Talk to Rocky at Acton technical services (auto gearbox specialists), they are on 0208 993 3249 and in Acton, West London. What he doesn't know about auto boxes, you could write on a postage stamp!!

J.Judge and son transmission in Ilford are real good they know there yank stuff and won't try and rip you off...I would recommend my father in law as he owns a transmission company but he's 13,000 miles away !

post up what box it is, you might get some pointers off here to help when talking to a specialist trans place.

would also recommend these guys, they has oddball parts for a C3 in stock and were very helpful.
