    LPG conversion

I'm coming to the end of the mechanical / electrical installation on my EFI Pinto and I've got a weird problem. Motor is up and running on petrol and each compoenets has ben hard tested for operatin. So the final part was installing the injection emulator, it tells the ECU that the petrol injectors are still firing when running on gas.

I started it on petrol, all good, pulled all the injections leads off ( sounds easy but took the best part of an hour) and connected in the emulator leads. One side plugs to the petrol injector and the other side plugs into the old injection loom ..

    NOTHING !

Stuck a test noid in emulator loom , nothing .Pulled apart, checked the old loom with test noid, all working . Ran a continuity 'beep' test on all terminals .all good ...but still no spark via the emulator ?

I'm waiting for the supplier to get back to me but any ideas meanwhile ?

Not much help, but try giving RPI a ring tomorrow, they are very helpful even when you've bought somewhere else.

Considering I had no idea what I was doing then yes. Due to it being in a rod I spent a fair time making it as tidy and neat as possible . I'd guess I've about 25 hours in it , spread over months , but could do another in half that time now. Most kit suppliers say to allow 2 days for a first installation.

It was done on my efi motor and so a little more complicated than a carbed motor.
Bought the kit from Tinley Tech who will issue a Safety certificate once I drive it to them for inspection.
