    Master Cylinder Bore Sizes.

I am replacing the 5/8 inch bore brake master cylinder on my Jago T bucket and I have noticed some for sale which measure 3/4 inch which are a fair bit cheaper. Would changing the bore cause problems with my system? It has Anglia 105e drums at the front and Cortina mk1 drums on the rear. Thank you.

It will shorten the pedal stroke (less feel/harder pedal) and need more pedal effort for the same stopping power.

Going from 5/8's to 3/4 will increase the fluid output by 44% and therefore make the pedal shorter by about 30%

He's right you know ! /\ 3/4 is designed for disc / drum set up and will , due to decreased line pressure make you brakes worse.
