    Master cylinder question

    if I press the plunger in on my master cylinder there is pressure at the outlet. All perfectly normal, but if I let go of the plunger it then sucks back through the outlet. Is this normal?
    Can’t say I e ever studied what a master cylinder does

    yes mate, that's why you tighten the bleed nipple before you lift the pedal back up when bleeding brakes.
