    Model A front leaf

    hi
    i have a 31 model A coupe
    the front transverse leaf spring looks wrong
    the shackles are touching the beam
    there is only one leaf and aim wondering if someone over the years has taken all the others out to lower it ?

    does anyone know where i can get a new leaf spring from

    It may be a monoleaf spring, they are known to break.

    doesn't look broken
    looks like its too soft so shackles are touching beam

    The shackles should be at 45 degrees, the spring may be too wide. Try Miles at Jackhammer for more expert advice and parts.

    What centre to centre are the shackles? It may have been lowered by fitting longer shackles than standard, if so putting standard shackles back on would help.
