evenin all
the origonal drum brakes on my 59 morris mo traveller are garbage, granted its not the fastest thing in the world but theres no way in this planet i could stop quick, there bloody dangerous!
anybody know the easiest way to convert to discs?
If you have access to a lathe or engineer you can unbolt the mo stub axle and machine the stub to accept a ford capri mk1-3 {not 3l. hub then use the discs and caliper on a new bracket.
Failing that you could make sure all the shoes and cylinders are in a serviceable condition and add a remote servo, that should stop then.
cheers!!a like it to,capri discs sounds a good idea, wouldnt no what to do with a laith even if i could geta hold of one,but theres engineering shops round here, the drums n shoes are all mint, everything serviced, servo would help, the pedals like stepping on a brick, theres a pic of it on my profile pics
