    New rack set up. used a mk3 Fiesta one in the end and got the arms cut down and rethreaded. new bracket should be welded in next weekend and then off to have tracking sorted before MOT.

    Hoping to be at Mudeford in May and then off for tuning at Reed Performance.

    Mk1 & 2 Cortinas have a separate dash light switch too, so would they now fail Kev or would you just leave the dash switch on as I always did?
    How'd the weekend go? Well, at the moment it looks like a dolphin that's been caught in a boats propeller.

    Live and learn eh!! I have had 5 Mk2 Cortinas and never noticed a seperate switch,

    The side/headlamp switch is to the right of the dials, the dashlight switch is to the left.

    dash lights not needed. fitted speedo and new steering rack and mounts

    where in the mot manual does it say speedo light must work with side lights ?? i thought it just had to iluminate it

    No idea at the mo Al . I haven't looked at the new manual in depth yet.
