Seems a shame to have it sat in a box.

i think the pinion angle is a little off
as for the front end, i think you will strugle with space for the engine, even with a viva front end it can be tight and the mustang is a lot bigger in all directions.

smart car rack - rhd is front steer

also rally sport do the aftermarket stang 2 spindles with bolt on arm - so not only can you bend them for ackerman, as the stock stang 2 wheel base is only 96 inches - say compared with 104-cortina = 106'' mk2 granny.
BUT you 'could' set it up rear steer

plus you can simply buy the 9.125 discs aeals bearings spindle nut kit all in for 90 pounds from langy - i did!!!
1/2 inch 20 tpi studs as stock. drilled chevy or ford = - longer castleated spindle nuts , omitting the serrated split pin cap too.

    also while i am on....
stock et for stang 2 is 10mm
    the hub/disc at 9.125''
the 11 inch rotor stuff - granda lincol whatever it is the e.t is 23mm

if you fit a 82-92 gm rotor the 10.5'' ones, you need to sink in the outer race 6mm, but you get an et of 3mm - almost zero.

so ideal with a aftermarket hot rod wheel - as they are that.

stock wheels for stang 2 are 13 inch, they ran a 195 70 13 tyre.

the track rod end is imperial, 9/16 16 tpi - right hand threads on both - so cuttable on an m14 steering rod.

yes, steering racks are generally m14 -1.5 tpi female, the stang 2 track rod ends are 9/16 -16tpi, a mondeo steering rack rod is m14, but is long enough to chop off its m14 threaded end for its tre, and thread it to 9/16ths, the problem i am having is finding a m14 tre with the stang 2 's taper.

I said it before on the other side, get an adaptor made so you can use stock M2 parts. Hex bar(or round)stock with male M2 thread on one end and bored and tapped other end for whatever rack thread you have.

Out of curiosity, what's your rack from Si as every RHD Mustang 11 I've seen has a rather fetching chain affair behind the dash to convert from LHD.
How'd the weekend go? Well, at the moment it looks like a dolphin that's been caught in a boats propeller.

Gotcha, wondered why you weren't too keen to cut it up!
