    Mustang II stock tower angle

In the process of fitting a mustang II kit to the front of my 41 Chevy. I,ve heard about anti dive angles etc.
The fat man kit has this angle of supposidly 3 degrees ready built into the tower but now on my level frame its 5 degrees.

Anyone any experience of shock tower angles on a tang II?

    Eddie

There presumption is your frame will be set with a rake. Three degrees is plenty.
Either grind the top hat or use shims under the top arm to correct it.

Thats what i gathered from the paper work. My car won,t have any rake at all as it will sit level, so what sort of angle should i be looking at for the top hats?

    Thanks for your help

Is it the Fatman kit for coil overs or stock springs? The coil over option has a different top plate set up and is easier to modify.
Set frame level along with lower part of x-member and tweak top hats to sit at 3 degrees.

Thanks for your help, wanted to make sure on the angles before tacking it in place.

Its actually an ultra low fat man bag set up I,m fitting in order to get the car laying frame.

I suppose if I was building the car with a rake the angle built in would be correct. I,ll just tweak em like you said to 3 degrees
