    Power drain

No....not a question for wanna be plumbers.

Do relays draw power when wired in direct to the battery......e.g. Not going through the ignition?
I want 2 window winders to work without the ignition on

    Russ

If there was anything to do where you live I'd move house just so I could pop round from time to time to give you a slap

My electric fans are wired straight from the battery (via fused relays) but with the switch wire for the relays coming from the ignition controlled live fuse and I've had no power drain issues.

a relay is an electromagnetic coil, it only draws power when activated i.e. switched on, so it cant draw power as it is not connected to power until the switch which activates it is pressed.
