    Power steering advise-please

Just fitting a Jag IFS front subframe into my beloved '48 Chevy, almost there- stuffing a Jag power steering pump and have an LHD rack... all looking good and will be ready to pipe up soon.

My question is... the original set-up has a very small oil cooler within the system- do I need to refit this?

I'd really like to miss it out (can't be arced to fit it) but is that okay? Or is it really needed?

    Thanks very much!

    Rich

Hi, I've got a JAG set up on mine & dumped the cooler; no problems so far. Got the pipe from here:

    Cheers

A lot of manufactures use a looped section of steel tube as a cooler, don't really think it's necessary meself...
