rad question - ali or std

    Quick Question chaps.

SBC - standard waterpump. I have the original Rad and the matrix measures 20" x 20"

Also I have an aluminium rad the matrix measures 22" x 15"

Both ar 50mm - 2" deep so probably two core I guess.

Question is obviously I would prefer to use the Ali rad but will it be better or worse than the standard jobby ?

    Thanks

Two inch depth could be up to 3 cores but not necessarily on both radiators. Ally is obviously the lighter material. At 22x15 you may find the cooling effect isnt much different than the 20x20 especially if it has an extra core....

As far as the non biased testing I have seen in the past, Copper and brass rads cool better than ally of the same size and core count.
