It is physicaly possible but it will only leave about 3mm between the stud and the outside edge, probably be ok on a light weight race car but i wouldnt recomend it (and i wont do it), other thing to look at is the diameter of the hole in the centre of the wheel, you need this to be a good fit on the hub as relying on the studs for location will lead to wheel wobble.

if you can find some vauxall vx490 discs uprights and calipers, swop this on to the viva, these ars 5 stud chevy you then have those converted to ford pattern, it may be better to leave them chevy pattern as you already have jag rear and change you wheels

hi, thanks for your replies vx490 sounds good and you think they can be converted to ford ,i,ve only just bought a new set of weld prostars for my other project but i,ve just bought another pop which i might do instead hence the questions regarding the hubs

I managed to fit some capri hubs to a 72 firenza this can be done quite easily i found an exact fit inner bearing and fitted a bigger outer bearing with a top hat inserted, spaced the inner bearing, it resulted in the hubs positioned in the same place, and looked pretty cool with the citroen xantia vented discs fitted.
