    It's the msa drag racing book that I tend to use , it's the specs for the UK ,
    Your correct the msa circuit racing stuff is totally different that's why safety devices cages and bolt in tubes are not to spec

    Edit ~ certain bolt in tubes are acceptable

    I can't seem to add a picture , but there should be a horizontal behind the seats , a pair at +-45° to the Center as well ..

    The door bars should slope down or be X type , in a 'glass car I'd run a pair under the door line front to rear as well ..

    When you see pictures of some cars in the US with cages that are apparently certified...you'd really wonder what goes through their heads when they dreamt up the designs. Some of them are terrible.
    Especially in the door bar area, where many have removable or hinged, or even door bars with significant bends in them
