I have a motor with one of the late 4 litre large journal cranks here; I also have a set of small journal "H" beam Carillo style rods and pistons that need to go into this motor. So, I need to get the big end journals machined down by about .185" to the 2" diameter small journal size to work with my rods.
I am struggling to find anyone to do this work, have had one done before (along with a re-stroke) by John Eales some time ago, would like to avoid a traipse from Kent up to the midlands if at all possible.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
