    rover v8 intake mods

Hi All , just wondering if this is feasible , toying with the idea
of altering a fuel injection manifold to take carbs , my intention was
to plug the holes for the injectors and build a plenum chamber to bolt to
the manifold , radius the eight intake holes for better air flow , and fitting
twin inline carbs , would this work ? And if so which carbs would suit ?
    Cheers Karl

depends what size rover mate. up to a 4 litre (stockish) then 2 32/36 webers from most 2 ltr pintos. if bigger or more tuned then 2 38dgas from a 3 ltr ford v6. jetting may need some changing but it'd be a start.

I have got 2 weber 38dgas on top of a tunnel ram. Ask flying phil on here for advice as it was on his drag car/street car. The carbs were re jetted and I check numbers and sizes when I re gasket the carbs. Good luck. I like to see rover v8s with sky high manifolds.

Why? Just wire up the ecu, if it's a 14cux then it's just 4 wires and it'll purr.

Two Weber 38 DGAS will be a bit big if its a 3.5, it would be like putting a 600 Holley on instead of a 390, I have had two smaller 34 DGAS on my car for over 30 years, runs great.
