    Rover v8 oil filter

I had the big correct oil filter on . Loads of room...……...then I fitted the bottom hose.

What are the options regarding a smaller oil filter

    thanks in advance

You want a pinto oil filter mate, it's a lot shorter than the rover filter.

Just make sure to use a quality filter whatever size you buy.

It can't fit all Rover V8's as the P5B and p6B have a different thread to the SD1

I feel I can only reapeat myself as I wouldn't want D Coupe to be put off or side tracked by miss information these filters not only fit they have also been used on everything from road conversions to drag cars and they work and work very very well ....if your not sure as its only one persons opinion then please go on all the rover v8 web sites as this issue has been widely spoken about over the years if not happy with the filters mentioned then cossie ford are slightly bigger more capacity but just google it all info is there on the web ... Rea comment to my post you are 100% right on sizes rovers where 3/4 and 13/16 bsp one has 16tpi other has 18tpi but here's the real shocker all filters mentioned are metric m20x1.5 not even imperial or bsp and yes you guessed it they all fit beautifully hope this genuinly helps D Coupe
