I have a cam out of a ZZ2 crate motor that could work for you.

Its most likely an 880 block ,( casting no. on the side of the block) depending what the engine was originally fitted into at GM .or was this a crate engine?anyway if you fitted the inlet manifold you would have seen the spiders that prevent the hydraulic rollers from rotating,or if its a hydraulic flat tappet then you would have seen 3 empty threads in the valley area.As I said in a post above I am curious , I have several camshafts here brand new , but they are way too aggressive for road use .

If you search for the ZZ2 cam specs on the internet it will explain all. Neil.

    Lightbulb

I had a performer equivalent cam in my old 350 pre 86 and it had no noticable idle at all.
Was tuff when my brothers said they weren't impressed with its sound after waiting 20 years for me to put in a V8. lol
Gained little power even with the edel heads and inlet.
Only a straight thru exhaust gave it some note.

Got a bonkers comp cam xe274 in my 383 now.
Too much for a straight cam swap on a stocker, but I'd go for summat just a bit more than a performer if I was gonna be bothered with a cam swap.
