    SBC Headers

Just connecting the rack on my truck which has a SBC with RAM style Exhaust manifolds, looks like it is going to be SO tight on steering bar - started me thinking about tubular headers.

How do I know that what I buy will clear my obstructions - is there an adjustable header kit ?? Or can I buy just the bends maybe ?

Passenger side will probably be fine but I can see clearance issues on drivers side

    Suggestions please chaps ?

    Thanks

    Bob

Ther are diy header kits out there, have a google youll find them. You got an old truck with jag front? If so there maybe a type that fits, loads of truck running this setup, they will know what fits. One thing though, when you say its gonna be real tight, just a small angle change at the header to head surface (angle milled flange) will move stuff away from stuff. Maybe a small angl change at the pipe to manifold joint, will work.

I can laser up a spacer for one side if that helps. up to 15mm in mild steel.
No longer selling anything Hot Rod related. Not on this site anyway. Don't bother searching Ebay either, they got too greedy.........
