    SBC Power Steering Pump Bracket

    Can you help ?

My truck's got the running gear from a '77, plus an older Goodwrench motor. It came to me with old ramhorn manifolds (which have now been replaced by headers) and the p/s/pump was mounted on bodged bracketry.

I've seen aftermarket brackets to use with headers, but anyone know if there's an original set-up from another Chevy that'll work...?

Barney, there are quite a few. Check out the photo's on http://www.alangrovecomponents.com/, http://www.billetspecialties.com/subcategory.asp?cid=25 and http://www.marchperf.com/csb_brackets.html. You will then have an idea of which pump you have and where it's positioned on your block. Normally the frame rails and type of pump dictate the mounting. Hope this helps.....
