sbc timing marker at 12 o,clock

My timing marker is at 12 o,clock and i am using a short water pump, when the pump is fitted its impossible to time the engine,

is there anything other than a proform balencer cover avaliable thats in the UK,

The ideal timing marker would be at 2 o,clock, thanks

    Good thinking!

Set it up with the 12o'clock tab, swap that for the 2 o'clock tab and mark it with paint.
If I wasn't meant to go that fast, the pedal would only go half way!

That's a 55-69/70 engine. Changed to 1 o'clock for 79-61 then 2oclock. At tax the timing mark will still be at 12.00. Mark the balancer with a new tdc mark in line with the woodruff key or get timing tape or summit sell marked balancer covers with the 2oclock mark. Then install the correct timing tab.
