    Stiff choke cable needed

    Does anyone know who sells the stiff wire choke cable type?the braide flexy type is no good,

    I repair choke and starter cables - particularly the old radio art deco style so you can keep the dash looking stock. I extract the old cable and put in whatever. I have done a lot of upright Prefect and Anglia Ford ones with the brown Bakelite. I tin the ends of the new stainless stranded cable to stop it fraying. I also have the single stiffie spring steel cable too. I have just done one for my own car - put spring wire in a Prefect choke knob instead of stranded bowden cable so it looks right on the dash when connected to twin SUs. Dave
