Ro34 or a 4/71 to me the 4/71 looks better. If I was going down this route I would contact uk blowers and see what they would advise re availability and cost.

Basically you will need to get a manifold machined to take the blower, the carb (lets say a holley just for now) will need a bit of playing with especially if it's a vacuum secondary system, and you will need to reduce the compression ratio of the engine especially if it's an early engine (10.5:1 CR) if you get an early range rover lump (lower compression) you may well get away with different pulleys to ensure that the blower is not pushing too much pressure. oh and you will need a blow off valve as well.

Others will have greater detail but there's your starter.

Talk to Nigel at UK blowers !
Ive had two Wade R034 on a 3.5, they make the best whine ! Problem with the Wades they don't rev very high !
    I've now got a GMC 4:71 a better blower,doesn't whine as nice as the Wades,but rev a lot better ! Mines 20% overdriven (mines now a 5.0)
You won't regret having forced induction

Cheers guys, you have really helped and I will be contacting Nigel to get more info.. My rover has a 9.35 :1. CR..
I must omit that I do prefer the looks of the Gmc 4:71... So will be looking towards one of these, regarding the inlet how and where would I get this done??

Thanks again guys, given me food for now..

    Rick..

Wade shorrocks RO34 make a great whine.
If your manifold is aluminium don't forget to helicoil it. I wiped out the rotors on my RO34 because i didn't
    expensive lesson to learn
