T5 Manual gearbox for TH350 auto poss ? Help..

Ok so my new ride `34 coupe Rodline body is fitted with a BW Tremec T5 manual gearbox
    355 Chevy fitted..

    So my thinking is.

Have read a bit that the TH350 auto box is commonly used.. Would this be a wise choice ??
and would it be a fairly easy swap?

You could get between £600-£800 for the manual set up depending on how much someone wanted it and condition. A decent box and converter / flexplate should be had for the same money. In effect if you do the work yourself it should be self funding.
1955-56-57 Chevy new and used parts always available from www.randrhotrodimports.co.uk who I'm proud to have sponsor my '57 Chevy race car. 9.3 @ 155.8 mph / 0-60 = 1.47 seconds! Street legal :-)

Your T5 will have an overdrive top gear. The TH350 has a 1:1 top gear, so any motorway driving wont be so relaxed unless you fit a taller final drive.
