    Tank sender

Is there any issue shortening the length of the arm on a float type sender? I've had a custom tank made but they've fitted baffles so i need to shorten sender to position it across middle. I'm just wondering if it will cause any problems?

might make it read a touch wrong, but you can get the pole type that could be a option

as long as it can bottom out and top out it shouldn't effect your gauge reading assuming they are matched, you may have to shape the rod to accommodate it though

Thanks guys, the sender came with the New gauge set I have so I'm keen to keep it. I reckon it's worth a go, I think as long as the sender gets full movement it should be ok.
