    thread / union type

    this may be for the more senior guys out there, lol,,, anyone got any idea of the thread spec / type for the fuel pipe union that srews into the fuel tank on the austin a30. the one in my tank appears to have been cobbed up with something with a smaller hole in it with a piece of brake pipe in it.......steve

    If I was at home I'd drop my thread charts and gauges around. You can pop and get them from Sarah if you want or wait till the weekend.
    I would've thought it'd be a gash whitworth or a BSP.
    How fine is it?

    Steve, you will probably find that it's not cobbled together at all, my Zodi's standard tank had the same sort of arrangement...

    I just gave up trying to feed a hungry 302 and got an ali tank made with 1/2 BSP bosses built in, to take 12x1 steel tube, seems to work fine now...

    Sorry that it doesn't help with you original question, but I think it will be a standard issue fitment...
